Announcing the Kevin Cunningham Culture Excellence Award

The Kevin Cunningham Culture Excellence Award is a special recognition that celebrates Galen employees who epitomize our core values within our Building the Lamp culture architecture.

The award honors those who elevate the experiences of everyone they interact with by consistently demonstrating the behaviors and principles of our cultural pillars. These individuals foster organizational vibrancy and make a unique impact on our mission and vision, positively influencing their colleagues, our students, and the College every day.

Award Details

• Campus-Level Recognition: Each campus will acknowledge one recipient with a Culture Impact Award.
• College-Wide Recognition: From this group of recipients, one exceptional individual will be selected to receive the Kevin Cunningham Culture Excellence Award, highlighting their remarkable contributions to our organizational culture.

This award underscores our commitment to recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions of our employees who bring our culture to life and drive our institution forward.

Qualification Criteria

Nominators:

• Must be a Galen employee (from any campus or department).
• May not self-nominate.
• May only nominate one person.

Nominees:

• Must be a full-time Galen employee in good standing.
• May hold a position up to a Senior Director level (Associate VP or above are ineligible to be nominated).
• Must be employed at Galen for at least one year as of September 30, 2024.
• Nominee’s campus must be operational for at least one year as of September 30, 2024 (Las Vegas & Aurora campuses are ineligible at this time).
