Galen Welcomes Kevin Delano as Chief Financial Officer

Galen College of Nursing is excited to announce the appointment of Kevin Delano as Chief Financial Officer.

With over 20 years of experience in financial leadership and strategic business planning, Delano brings a wealth of expertise to Galen. His background in managing complex finance structures and analytical systems has consistently driven improved internal governance and revenue performance. An accomplished leader, Delano’s skill in developing new business strategies and managing growth will be crucial in supporting Galen’s mission to expand access to nursing education nationwide.

Before joining Galen, Delano was the operating partner of his professional services company, where he focused on enhancing reporting and process improvement to ensure transparency and accountability. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Rasmussen University, overseeing financial operations and team development across 23 campuses in six states. His early career included leadership roles at Nokia and IBM, where he excelled in financial analysis, product roadmap planning, and the continuous improvement of global finance and operational processes.

As CFO, Delano will provide strategic leadership while overseeing Galen’s financial health and fiscal governance. He will lead finance and accounting operations, forecasting, information technology, and strategic planning for the College.
