In a recent announcement, our CEO Mark Vogt shared exciting news about Galen’s latest executive appointment. Mr. Henry Hawkins, CPA, has been named the new Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)! With a career in financial leadership and strategic planning spanning over 30 years, Mr. Hawkins brings a wealth of experience to the position. Additionally, his recent consultancy with Galen has provided him with an understanding of our processes and policies, ensuring he’s well-prepared for his new role.

Mr. Hawkins’s career highlights include founding a leading Bank CPA firm in Kentucky and holding transformative leadership roles with several financial institutions, earning him local and national recognition. As CFO, he will closely collaborate with key members of the Galen team, including CEO Mark Vogt, VP of Finance Tom Dwyer, and AVP of Accounting Rob Behr, to focus on strengthening Galen’s financial management and infrastructure.

Mr. Hawkins’s appointment as CFO reflects Galen’s commitment to outstanding nursing education and underscores the importance of strategic leadership decisions. His expertise is anticipated to play a significant role in Galen’s ongoing growth and in strengthening our foundational support.
